had both language papers today. so crap, i always do badly for languages -_-
english was actually ok lar, had a lot of time to sleep and daydream. hahax. 1h 40mins and i completed it in like 1hr or less (minus the time lagging between the paper =P)
chinese ar, for the first two sections i'll probably flunk... didnt study the ci yu well enough... then for zao ju was ok lar then the rest was pretty managable. still, i think i did rather badly for chinese... sigh, i can predict that mdm lim will say: 'yan wei ar, ni dao di you men you du shu de?'
sian, hope i can do well for the rest of the papers. gd luck everyone

decided to take the photo off my blog, haha, dunno why also. it's rather hard to make a blog template that looks nice on both mozilla firefox and internet explorer. whoever uses firefox will know that the blog looks different for when u view it using internet explorer. it looks more wierd on firefox. so i try to make it as plain as possible, and try to cater to the majority using ie.
haizz, preparations for exam going quite well. almost finish sec3 chem stuff le, still got a lot to go though...
sian lar, my BIKE got STOLEN today. F***. i rode it to lot1 ytd but did not bring it back coz my mum went there to fetch me. i wanted to retrive my bike today, only to discover that the lock was forced open (whoever did that must have been very strong coz the lock was totally out of shape). sian lar, bike gone just like that.

another week gone, just like that... in a blink of an eye, 4 out of 12 months have gone by already. at this rate, l'll soon be finding myself sitting for the 'O's. time is really passing very quickly. mid-yrs will start very soon now, and i haven't studied much yet... sigh. i can't seem to find the right mood or motivation to study. i know this year's exams are going to be so important, but most of the time i fail to force myself to study properly.
the exams will be starting with my weakest subjects of all - the 2 languages. sigh, really hope can do well for them this time. haha, i dare not set high expectations for myself, for the fear of not meeting them. still, i wish i could achieve good results, at least better than my common test. aiya, wat the heck, i'll just give my best shot. jiayou everyone =)

bleahx, x-country season has been over for almost a week already, and the exams are coming in less than a week. still, i cant seem to find to mood to study. yes, i've started studying 1 topic of chem out of all the sec3/4 work, so smart of me. haix.
today after school, all those who ran for nationals gathered to write reflections on our race preparations and the race itself, and stuff we can improve on. haha, it's my last yr in rv already, guess it doesn't concern me much but it's for my juniors lar, so.. yar... we were then sort of told about the trip we will be having to perth at the end of the year. i'm so looking forward to it man, it'll probably be a great way to have fun after the o levels.
after that, had a game of soccer with darius, weekiat, yongqiang, gab, jingjie, yipchoon and minzhang. haha, first time the seniors and juniors playing soccer together, so fun. hehex.
well, mid-year will start next week. seriously must start revising now. have to keep reminding myself that o levels is coming. haix. anyway, good luck to everyone for their mid-yr exams. =)

whew, reached home at around 9pm yesterday. bathed and immediately went to lala land, so did not have the time to update blog, haha
anyway, yesterday's race was the first nationals school x-country race i've ran for RV, and that officially marks the end of my cross-country career in RVHS. although my performance yesterday wasn't satisfying, i have no regrets about it. i have already done my best despite the pain i experienced, that's what it matters. as i sprinted for the last stretch and crossed the finishing line, there was only 1 thought that went through my head: zhong yu jie shu le (it's finally over). well done team RVHS. 'c' girls, congratulations for coming in 2nd. 'c' boys, well done. 5th is good, i'm proud of each and everyone of u guys. 'b' girls and boys, though we didnt come in the top few positions, i guess we ran well so, yar.
well done everyone, this cross season is a huge success, our hard work definitely paid off. finally, we're able to take a break form all the intense training we've had. i'll be looking forward to the trip we'll be having at the end of the year. =)

ok so it was announced yesterday that i will be running on the big day. =) Realised that this is only the first time i've acutally ran in nationals schools x-country.
when i was in sec2, i was merely a reserve, and my job was to stand at a part of the route to cheer for them. The team came in 4th back then, and i could still the statisfaction i felt (even though i didn't run). i could still rmb how we were eagerly anticipating for the results to be announced and how we were jumping with joy and it was announced. lol, i still rmb that i got a trophy too, though reserves weren't suppose to get. when they were giving out the trophies for the other divisions, desmond and i realised that there were 8 people taking per team and i was like 'wasn't there suppose to be only 6?' lol so we asked mr. tan abt it and ended up running around the big crowd towards the prize recipients area and made it just in time. yea, that was all in the past...
this year, the 'b' division boys aren't expected to win at all. all we could aim for was top10... nevertheless, i'll still run my very best. who knows? the other schools may all flop, haha. 'c' girls... um... jiayou eveyone, go for champion! 'c' boys, the 4th postion is within ur reach. beat RI like how we beat ASC(I) in 2003. good luck! 'b' girls, dont worry about the huayi tag-team duo, no point worrying anw, haha.
the big day is just a couple of days away, and my heartbeat is beating quicker with each passing minute. scenes of the route and the grandstand keep flashing through my head. well, all i can do now is to keep calming myself down, keep hydrated, eat well, rest well and... dont get sick/injured,
all the best team rvhs!

wat an interesting (and wet) day today...
started off with morning run. my pull up seems to be improving quite well. managed to do 4 sets (or was it 5?) of 5 today, yep. i forgot wat's the amount for an A, but nvm lar, napfa test still more than a month away, got plenty of time to train for it.
during chinese lesson, lagged all the way. she didnt even teach much, just call us to read newspaper and ke ben. haha. maths lesson... got back a.maths mock test. DAMN careless lor... got 36/50 when many ppl are getting 40 over.. crap man... nvm, lucky it's not counted, hehe.for pdp today, watched this video for HSE lesson, and funny weiquan keep asking crappy questions that made me laughed a lot... he doesn't think before asking anything -.- lol...
after school today stayed back at the canteen to do chem tys and before we knew it, rain was pouring and the whole canteen was attacked by droplets of rain with the wind acting as the 'catalyst'. so crap lor. then was this time when a gust of strong wind came so suddenly that i had to open my umbrella to shield my paper from the disaster. after it was over, some extra chem tys pop out on my table (apparently they flew there). lol, when i looked outside the school, the entire road including the pavement was flooded, and the road became a river (i suppose tt's why we are called RIVER valley high). first our school caught fire, next is flood, wat's next?
haha, wat an interesting day it is today. yep, another day has passed, it's another day closer to nationals. wise words from my coach (actually is he tell michelle who told me): u knew what u wanted this season. Yet things seem tougher. u have trained thru adversity, rain shine hot cold wet dry. I have exposed u guys to all which I deem possible this season within the constraints of the school. Winning is not everything. Learning from next week's race will no doubt be your biggest lesson in your life. Adversity vs Life. never say never, until u are totally wasted.
oh btw, how's my edited blog layout? can hear the background music anot?

ok i shall update for the sake of updating.
before i go on, happy b'day to yichun. i apologise for not getting u any present coz i didnt reall have the time to go and find one. i got u a card though, which i think the picture suits u perfectly ;)
then past weeks has been a rather... boring and uneventful one (tt's why i haven been updating). everyday it's just the same routine, going to sch, going home, do hmwk/play com blah blah blah. Life in sch is so boring that me, jackson, nalan and weiquan(4 crappers sitting at the back) decided to have msn converstions during lesson time, lol. just write wat we want to say on a piece of foolscap and pass it around. not bad lar, we managed to come up with 4 foolscaps of crap in just 2 days. we havent been getting much homework recently, and that is one thing i'm happy about.
been going for morning trainings again after stopping it for a few times due to last minute pia-ing of not yet completed work in school. running with hendy & co. is rather um.... fun? like keeping up with them = doing a 2.4 at below 9mins, and their doing 10 rounds... this year napfa test i think i'll be aiming for below 9mins for 2.4, and i MUST get A for my pull-up, the item which cost me my gold last year (argh!)
well, the more important thing is that nationals is just 9 days away, that is 1 week and 2 days. feeling more and more excited abt it.
