i was intending to take a break for the first week of the holidays and then start mugging for common test from the 2nd week onwards...
note that 'intending to' are the keywords for the sentence.
of course, things didn't go my way. well, they never did actually. the week is basically made up of spa, physics lecture, PW, VA (Varied Assessment, not Volumetric Analysis) and trainings.
even my game of tennis today was almost screwed because i had forgotten that we're suppose to meet up to discuss about PW today. yea, just me, yanqin and cheryl discussing while li jing is slacking in his homeland on the other side of Earth (ok la, not really other side, it's just further north). Luckily, Kaixuan was forgiving despite being pangseh-ed by me for more than 2 times because i had to cancel our tennis appointment due to other commitments. Gotta thank him for that.
trainings isn't any better. my legs weren't the only part of my body doing the run. my nose had to act pro and run along as well. and this nose of mine is an exceptional cross-country runner i must say. it runs anywhere, anytime and it never says die. and it has been running non-stop for more than a week already. ahhhhh.
well, at least i'm regaining most of my fitness already, that's something to cheer about.
track camp this weekend. a great chance for me to escape from whatever work i detest. argh, track camp faster come, and hope that i'll be able to enjoy it to it's fullest, before i go crashing back to mugging again.
life's like that... what to do?

screwed up my race today. but i guess it's ok since i kind of didn't expect much from myself today. but the thing is i'm feeling much better now. think i've finally (almost) fully recovered. running is the best medicine.
oh yar, i was looking at the video of my race and i simply couldn't believe that was how i have been running since i started running (-.-) i have a month to change and i better change it quick.
chem spa tmr. skew bee and sea.
mugging makes me sick again...

this sunday, 2nd allcomers... hope i'll be fully recovered by then, though i doubt i'll do well on the day itself given my current state.
and to add on to my misery, there are 2 amazingly large ulcers on my lower lip which had appeared since yesterday. though i don't think they'll affect my race performance much, since the pain they cause is nothing compared to the pain of a 400m race, or rather, the last 100m.
ahhh watever, it's not as if i'll do well anyway. missed 2 weeks of trainings already. the thing i should be worrying about now is whether i am well enough to be standing at the starting line.
ok, let's talk about something else. so the holidays are here! rejoice! hooray! someone mentioned something about taking a break from our normal routine. so, let's see what abnormal stuff awaits me in this exciting month of june:
1) chem SPA
2) finish econs VA (overdue i think, but we started late)
3) finish cultural mapping (sian, waste time)
ok, the above mentioned is only for the first few days. nth much. and then there's:
4) PW
5) PW
6) PW
7) PW
8) PW
9) mug for common test
10) mug for common test
11) mug for common test
12) mug for common test
and the list goes on...
well, i'll try and be optimistic and look at the lists of things that'll cheer me up somehow.
13) track camp
14) trainings
15) ummm... going out? i'll try and squeeeeeeeeeeze some time out for that.
hmmmmm... well, at least i needn't wake up early every morning and drag/pull/force myself to school for a while...

the legend of mr ng.
chapter XXII, part III:
...after winning a well fought battle against a minion called 'flu', a new villian called 'fever' has appeared. despite being low on hp and mp, our hero continued the fight.
the battle against fever was long and tough. initially, fever sent its underlings named 'cough' and 'sore throat'. their tag-team combo attack was quite powerful, but it was easily beaten with a few strepsils bought from the njc sandwich stall. right after that, fever itself appeared before our hero, casting it's ultimate magic 'firaga', which has the ability to cause body temperature to shoot up by 10000000times. with his remaining mp, our hero retaliated with ice magic 'blizzaga', desperately trying to reduce the temperature. however, all did not go well for our hero when fever proved to be too strong for him. thus, he retreated to "greenlife clinic & surgery pte ltd" in the village of yew tee to seek help from the legendary doctor. at a cost of 27 gil, the doctor gave our hero some potions and elixirs to aid him in the battle, and handed to him the legendary scroll called the 'medical certificate'. with increased morale from the scroll, our hero returned to battle. the battle between fire and ice dragged on, neither side were about to give in. after countless hours, fever was finally weakend. our hero tooked the opportunity to gulp down the elixir prescribed by the doctor to restore his hp and mp and with his last bit of strength, casted the magic 'sleepel' on himself. and so, our hero went into a peaceful slumber for the night, which is what fever fears the most. knowing that the situation was not to its favour, fever finally retreated. victory! *victory fanfare theme plays in the background*
and so once again, our hero has saved the day
lol, sorry, i think i miss playing final fantasy too much...
i think i might have just scored a new personal best for the highest body temperature reached yesterday. serious. i was so relieved that my brain wasn't cooked. on the other hand, my fitness level is gonna fall like crap... wonder how many trainings have i missed...
someone ask me out to watch x-men 3 during the holidays please?

after a recovering from a horrible flu, i'm finally back on the track. my running form is quite horrible though, and siqi made me do drills over and over again after seeing that i was getting nowhere for my workout. well... it's one month left for me to correct it...
heard from jonathan that dear (ex)coach pandian is starting competitive training again. no, not for the rv carrots, but for himself. (jonathan i still don't believe this, are u ABSOLUTELY SURE? it's like... shocking)
well, IF it is true, i dunno la. i havent seen him run before although i've heard much about his legends. i remember last year there was this invitational race at either wings or swift meet which he ran and he limp across the finishing line because he somehow got injured after the first step. i could still remember our anticipation when he was behind the starting line and how we went 'ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh' after he started walking. and the commentator was saying something like, 'mr. pandian, what happen to you?'
well, that's last year...
i cant wait to see what he is capable of now... interesting....

...and njc funtasia II was over
it was quite a success i think, at least for my class' stall. at first when i saw the drinks we had to sell i was like 'omg, we have to sell these much?'
but obviously i had thought wrong. we ran out of stock when it was only almost 12. we had to keep getting help in replenishing the drinks/ice/cup, and the queue was like whoa! well done to all who have played a part in making our stall's business a success.
but i think funtasia II wasn't that fun. just a personal opinion xp
after that had dinner at kap with some s14 people. after the meal nobody wanted to leave but no one know what is there to do, so the bored five ended up truth-or-daring, and slowly al of us began to talking about some... stuff.
as people grow up and matures, we get more complicated along the way. complicated in the sense that we see things in a more complex manner. well, at least most people does. i miss the times when we were young when everything was so simple. lend me your eraser and i'll be your best friend. don't lend me i don't friend you.
if that's what u call being childish, then i'll rather be childish all my life.

having 3 tests in one day is definitely something i hope i won't have to go through again.
messed up my chem test
chem spa was still ok
gp mock test was a total disaster. should have just ponned it and went for training instead. well, i'm still not fully recovered yet anw...
tuesday's dsa preview aka tea party was quite ok i guess. well done everyone. carrying the tables and chairs was harder than i thought. maybe because it's been some time since i last did weights training. lolx.
funtasia this saturday. hope everything will proceed smoothly.

...and so, the 100m world record was broken, by 0.01s.
9.76s.
and mr aaron ng will only cross the line 2++ seconds after that time -.-
it's kinda interesting. try, starting and stopping the stopwatch as fast as you can, see if you can even get 0.05s. if u can, u're either 1) damn fast or 2) damn tyco or 3) ur air-conditioner is working extremely well.
yup, that's what track and field is all about. a little bit off and it's good night for the sprinter.
the flu bug is irritating

another long weekend. it's nice to have occasional breaks like these, at least it gives me time to catch up on certain things, like a peaceful slumber
spent my afternoon sleeping once again. no i'm not slacking, just taking a nice short break from all the torture i had to go through in school and at home everyday. i can actually fall asleep easily anytime anywhere now, all it takes is a platform for me to rest my head on and the next moment i'm found wandering in lala land.
but thanks to that, i'm feeling quite refreshed now. today, i need not be in nj enduring all the boring lectures and the irritating mosquito bites. everything feels so good. the air seems fresh and the sun is shining. i finally feel alive again.
...and i'm off to mug for my tests next week
the cycle continues...

good workout, bad race.
well, though my 200m wasn't that good, i found some things about myself from the race, things which i may have noticed quite some time ago but failed to correct. I'll try my best to change these faults of mine. well anyway, a pb is still a pb, though the target was not met.
today's workout... i like it. quite shiok. thanks esther =)
just hope that i won't ache too badly tmr, there's still training xD
zahari says my headaches occur because i don't have enough iron in my body...
'need more iron'
but don't worry, i won't be going around consuming metal plates.

400m yesterday was quite a joke for me. i dunno wat can i say about myself.
this morning had to force myself to get out of bed and drag myself down to gombak to train. sometimes i wonder why am i doing this. even today, zhenjie was telling me and jonathan that he had somehow lost the motivation to train. i was just wondering to myself: "why the heck am i pushing myself so hard? i won't win anything anyway." in fact, my form really sucks right now. think sph relay was my best 400m run, and since then it had declined due to some unknown reason. that resulting in me being such a hum ji, no confidence idiot who kept scaring myself when i ran the 400 yesterday.
and i think my endurance is dropping like free fall. a=9.81 metres per second square
my econs hmwk gave me a real headache just now. took 3 hours to complete one part of a two-part essay question. how wonderful can that get?
ahhh watever... i'll just go watch my anime to destress.
