been joining nj's training since monday. well, i must say it had been ok, for the track side at least. the cross side is like doing super hiong trainings. i think i shall join them for trainings from time to time xP oh, and for some reason, qing xiang gets to leave his camp everyday at 5+ (dunno why he's able to do that, but i heard he's a clerk in ns, so can slack, but it's a boring job) and he's been coming to train with us. and i didnt know he is so crappy and tells lousy jokes. i don't rmb him being like that back in rv track.
training at the track side was still ok. for the first training we did almost nth, cos they were trying to teach the new j1s their drills (most which i had already done before). the second training was fine. coach was teaching a few of us how to run the first curve of 400m. right arm swing more, left arm swing less, right leg just get the right knee lift, left leg try to push more. i got the arm part correct, but coach says my legs are wrong, so i need to practise more. so it's back to the beginning: lesson on how to run 400m.
got my new shoes le. gel cumulus VII. though the cushion isn't as nice as my gel nimbus, i still like it la. but i still like gel nimbus more! argh. nvm....
edited: oh btw, nj track also does the ankle/shin stretch (aka ankle pain pain as named by me) like the one pandian taught us. i seriously hate that stretch... it just make my ankle hurt all the time

woke up at 12pm today, a new record for me. i've never woken up so late before. factors which contributed to my extreme tiredness were probably the nj dance party which caused me to reach home rather late, the training next morning which deprived me of sleep and the rv anniversary concert. (which is also a waste of my $25)
went to the concert yesterday with my 4K classmates. well, i didnt really enjoy the concert... and i thought the finale was rather... erm... dunno how to describe. the dancers, both guys and gals, put up a good show. the concert band's performance was kinda funny, with songhua and co. dancing funny dance at the front. cute xD
after the concert, went to clementi mac for supper. had quite a long chat with my classmates about our new jc life. got to know quite a bit of interesting stuff from them.

just returned home from njc's dance party, which is also the last day of stalia estrellas, njc orientation 2006. well, i did have a wonderful time jumping around at the dance floor and trying to go crazy, but i still think that such stuff are not for me, lolx. simply because i'm not someone who goes wild like that. but i sure see the other side of some people today. especially liu pu. usually quiet, and don't do anything much. but tonight he was the craziest person at the dance floor. though he dunno any dance moves, he just screamed his lungs out and just go very crazy. oh, mass dance was fun xD enjoyed it
well, i guess that's the end of the fun, the end of the beginning. from next week onwards, lessons will begin. i'll have to start going for trainings (although i already am). jc life will be hectic, that's what the seniors were telling us. 06S14, i'll be looking forward to the journey with you guys for the two years to come.

happy hari raya haji!
haha, rained quite heavily this morning, what a way to start the holiday. went for training (with pandian) at gombak despite the heavy downpour. ironically we did more workout than usual. warm-up, jumping power, did quite a bit of baton passing before a 100m x5 workout. what a wet training it was, but it sure was cooling xD
whew, i'm finally gonna get new running shoes and spikes. the sole of my gel nimbus is like going to fall apart anytime. and i've almost outgrown my spikes already. it's almost time i hang it up somewhere and probably paste a piece of paper on it saying "2003 - 2006"
after training, some of the athletes met up at cineleisure to catch a movie. most of them wanted to watch a chinese tall story despite hearing comments saying that the show is a boring one. michelle was insisting that we watch other shows, but in the end gave in to the others. well, about the show, it's not really boring, but it's definitely so very damn LAME. oh man, i wanna kowtow to the scriptwriter, for he has such ability to come up with all kinds of lame stuff. well, fortunately it wasn't lame throughout the entire show (or else it'll suck). it was kinda touching towards the end. i think emily and janice cried xD
oh, i really like my dsa junior (in rv athletics). he is so guai lan la. during the cca trials/open house, he went to the CO section to try out. and the CO people was like trying to teach him how to play the instrument and all that. after everything was over, the CO people ask him if he wanna join and he replied, "i'm in athletics already, i came in through dsa". i can imagine how the CO people felt after he said that. oh man, he is really pro, i like him xD

first week of orientation at nj had finally passed. well, the first few days were really boring to me, maybe because i mix around too little. part of the comment i got from a card from my ogl today was something like "initial impression of you: OMG, THIS GUY LOOKS DAMN DAO" but note the word 'initial" xD
thursday evening was a rather fun one i would say. hundreds of njcians plus quite a number of hcjc-ians (or whatever they call themselves) were flooding the second floor of kap mac and making a LOT of noise. the main source of noise were from people cheering at those who had to do a forfeit from a game or something. yup, we had a lot of games but my group wasn't contributing much to the 'going-to-crack-the-glass-at-kap' level of noise (i think the staff at the mac was rather pissed off by that)
today, well, basically learnt a lot of cheers and the english school song which i think sounds very appealing. it would probably sound like sound national day theme song, but yar it's nice la x) after that we bascially learnt and practised the mass dance all the way till 1+ before we were dismissed. had quite a lot of fun today.
after that we headed straight back to rv. didnt visit the teachers though. only talked to miss yew and mr soh because i saw them. miss yew like telling janice who was beside me "ask him if he used both maths for his L1R5" -.- and mr soh was like "wah, another one in njc ar"
whew, what a day it was today. glad the first week wasn't as boring as i had expected from the orientation timetable after all.
oh and my mum just told me that o level results will be out much earlier this year, sometime in mid feb. oh man...

after chenwei was being laughed at for still wearing short pants, weiyi said "we (rv guys) should form a united front with catholic high guys and get rid of the long pants" not a bad idea eh?
when a teacher asked who was the second richest guy in the world, after a long silence, darren blurted out "donald trump" thanks darren, that was a cute answer
haha ok that's just 2 of the few interesting experiences i had during my first 2 days in nj. yea, i really mean few... these 2 days have been rather boring... with all the talks and admin stuff going on. well, the fun part will come... next week -.-
