tennis rox! although i suck at it xD it feels good to just have a nice rally with someone (not the wall). you hit to me, i hit to you, you hit to me, i hit to you. whack here, whack there, whack the ball out of the court... i wanna play tennis again! before the workload starts to fall upon me like an avalanche.
enrichment week, ironically, isn't really that enriching. the solid state/fiber optics talk was veryveryveryvery boring thanks to the speaker who just went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. next was e-bazaar, which i had signed up for as 1) it is free and 2) it's worth 8 hrs. ok, that was damn boring as well. had some crappy station games and i seriously don't see how can i benefit from them. enriching indeed....
ok, tmr's activity is the one (and only one) i'll be looking forward to. food trail. yea, go around and eat, eat, eat. yea man. hope i wont become fat xD dont think that will happen since i have training right after that. oh, in that case, hope i still can run with the unimaginable amount of food in my stomach.
well, have nth much to say liao. till next time then.
oh ya, here's something which made me laughed until my abs hurt terribly on monday. thomas was buying a drink at nj canteen after his excursion to IMH (probably beacuse of that, was unable to think properly at that instant)
thomas: uncle, gei3 wo3 passion fruit ice blended, jia1

well, finally sph relay's over. ran my first race for njc, and i must say it wasn't ok.
day1:
you'll never know how relief i felt when they announced that it'll be straight finals for the 4x200m 'a' boys. i must really thank the 2 schools (whoever they are) for not reporting or i'll really become a walking zombie by the end of the 2nd day. 4x400m finals was rather satisfactory for me. it's the only race that i performed quite well in. ran a 54.7s, which is what i had aimed for, for now. of course this timing wouldn't be good enough for nationals so... gotta work harder. 4x200m... i don't know how to describe my run. it's just... off. i didn't know what i was doing/thinking about during the run. was quite worn out and simply couldn't focus on the run.
day2:
horrible performance by me during the 4x100m heats resulted in the team being unable to even qualify for the finals. again, again and again, it was my mistake during the baton passing that caused it. missed that finals by a mere 0.12s. others might said that we a were unlucky, but i think otherwise. we don't deserve to be in the finals... or rather... i don't deserve to be in the team, if i don't buck up. those that were really unlucky were the 4x800m guys and the 4x100 girls. but anyway, well done everyone. congratulations to the girls for clinching the overall champion.
well, it sure is tiring running 3 races in 2 days. come to think of it, it's actually less than 24hrs. hope i won't ever have to do that again. it's enrichment week next week. time for a break.

A: None......they use all their money to employ YJC to do it for them.

47.34s. just one word to describe such performance - slow. no doubt i was the one who caused it. receiving the baton from dian xiang was ok, nicely done. passing the baton to benjamin was a flop, all because i wasn't able to catch up with him... "not enough speed" was the comment from mr. yeo on my run. true, i was nowhere near my top speed, and yet my speed declined at an incredible rate when the distance is only less than 100m? this simply sucks.
sph really is only like 2 days away. i really hope that such unforgivable mistakes won't ever occur again. i don't want to be the one to pull the team down...
i really wonder when can i ever get the chance congratulate myself for doing well, for performing up to expectations. seems like that day isn't going to come just yet... i'm not close enough to even smell my target.
4x400m. i'd better do well this saturday or i really dunno what else i can do already... 55s for now... it's either i make or break.

yay, i'm officially seventeen today! i'm getting old already x) let's see... birthday wish for this year? nah, i'll pass. or rather, don't think i have one... just hope that i can get along well with life.
sch started yesterday. i'll just randomly talk about some things here.
-glad to see S14 again, just that it's a pity zhirui and liupu are no longer there to provide entertainment
-we have more free periods now (yay!) cos S14 now got some ppl taking KI and CL
-have pe on monday, which is the last lesson which is right before training, can die
-the subject teachers that i hope would change really changed, and those that i hope will remain the same remained the same. i guess this can't get any better eh? haha now that i have better subject teachers, i'll be able to pay more attention during lessons
-i'll need some time to get used to long pants. it's seriously damn hot. oh man, i miss the rv uniform when i can tuck out and wear short pants.
-oh and finally, i'm gonna be in the same class as wei quan for 6 years - 1C,2C,3K,4K and 2 years in 06S14
well, that's about it for school. sph relay's this saturday. i might have to run 3 events cos leon is still injured... crap...

yes! i got my mp3 again! no more boring bus rides x)
went down to turf city again to support rvians and njcians in the wings x-country today despite the scorching weather. well, nth much. just that it's nice to see minzhang and michelle in good form, coming in 10th and 8th in their respective races. well, as for nj, well done guys, especially thomas. i think he ran pretty well today.
after the race, headed down to adam's food centre for dinner. joe treated thomas and gavin and me to this 'delicacy' known as mutton brain. erm, it cost 4 bucks, and it comes in this green soup which have a taste similar to that of green curry. and when joe was buying it the stall owner was like pointing to the brain and confirming with him if that's the thing he wants. it seems like he's saying, 'ay boy, u sure anot?' well, the brain taste like... semi-spoiled tofu + semi-spoiled half-boiled egg? i mean, it does taste a little digusting, but it's rather chewy and... well, i think u get what i'm trying to say... i only had two small bites and a big glass of orange juice to go along with it. thomas only had one, while gavin simply gulped down quite a few, saying that's it's delicious.
well, for those of you who are sick of usual hawker food and wanna try something different, head down to adam food centre and order some mutton brain xD
sph coming soon! i'm so excited!

hi everyone. here i am updating again. how's life? xP
well, i guess that's the end of the first term. march holidays are finally here, and i've heard from someone (forget who is it) that this will be the first and the last holiday for us. we'll be busy preparing for our common test and promos during the june and september holiday. anyway to all j2s, best of luck for ur common tests next week x)
our new classes will be out when sch reopens. and i really really hope that there won't be much shuffling. hope that they will try and keep 06S14 like the way it is now as much as possible. we've already been together for the first term and bonded together as a class, so we don't want to be seperated. and also, i hate to keep changing and having to adapt to new environment, cos i'm lazy.
i didn't manage to go down to macritchie on wednesday to watch rvians run their cross-country cos i had to attend training. was actually thinking if i should just pon to go down but in the end i did not. sry guys. anyway, training has been rather ok for the past week. just that there were times when my leg refuses to move. but still, that was nothing compared to the good old days when we were training at gombak. i still miss the times when pandian used to massacre all of us during training. (saw how he did that to the junior carrots on saturdays xP)
somehow, i think neither mr. yeo nor mr. lim were pleased with my performance.
i'm not satisfied with myself either...

had a one pathetic day of orientation today which is... pathetic la. the only useful thing i did today for orientation was choosing my subject combi. for the 2nd intakers, they will be having their second and last day of orientation tmr while we will be resuming with our lessons, when our subject combi results are not even out yet -.- anyway, i'm sticking to my all-h2-pcme so i guess it won't make much of a difference. was actually considering taking h1 econs, but i still went for h2 in the end. hope i can cope...
well, as for the 2nd intakers... not much different from the first batch. just that i see that now there are more people i'm familiar with from rv. but hey, i do mix around with students from other secondary schools ok xP
06S14 seems quite empty today. yong chun, kelly, benjamin, wanyi, huijuin and liupu (!!) gone... and more than half of the people that are left are OGLs. so basically, it's just down to the few of us... i can imagine how quiet the tutorials are gonna be tmr. hope things will not be as i imagined. with mr. chan around, of course it will be possible. hope those people like benjamin and kelly who are trying to appeal back can make it, cos life seems really wierd without you guys
to yu jia, glenn and richard: hope you guys can be successful in your appeals! the team needs you all! and also, like thomas have mentioned, hope there will be fast runners among the 2nd intakers to help bring the team to the next level.

1st allcomers meet, my first track race of 2006. it's sad though, 'cos i definitely did not put in my best today. probably because of the rain which made us wait for a long long long long time before the events could continue. i guess that affected me both physically and mentally. but it's just not right to but the blame on the weather yea? i should have pushed harder at the last 80m but somehow i couldn't. bleh... neither pandian nor mr. yeo were happy with my run... as for myself... though it was my p.b, i definitely could have done better... so... yup...
next race is sph relay, will look forward to breaking another of my p.b.
nationals is in 4 months time. i still have lots of work to do...

today's the release of the a level results for the 2005 j2's. i must say that the mood in the hall was rather different from that of when we received our o level results. it's like, most of them just have this normal looking face which seems like nothing is happening. of course, there are people who jump and scream like mad or cried, but strange enough there were quite few of them (i only saw one girl crying and heard the scream of another girl) the scene was rather different from when we got back our o level results and most people starts to get emotional (happy/sad). well, i dunno if that's good or bad.
anyway, heard that nj's results improved, so... well done j2's of 2005, although i dunno almost all of you. oh, and qing xiang didn't tell me his results, only mentioned that it was ok.
posting results would be out this friday. but i've heard rumors saying that there's been a leak of results. hmmm....
