finish reading death note 6 and 7 already!
and now i officially dislike yagami light. however smart he may be, he's too cunning to be liked.
L is a much more likable person. a tinge of childish and immature behaviour coupled with a whole load of intelligence up in his head, and that 'not willing to lose to kira' attitude makes L so much better than yagami light. but then... haix... for the sake of the readers (however few) of my blog i shall not be a spoiler here... go read the story.
just watched first 2 episodes of nana. it's a different genre from the other animes i've watched so far, but it's nice. thanks shaun for burning the episodes! and i'm dl-ing the entire series of chrno crusade. whoo! more and more anime.

training today was good. did some wierd hold-the-ball-high-knee-lift then drop-the-ball-and-run workout. felt wierd but it was ok i guess. then there was this hold-the-ball-and- hop-like-a-kangeroo workout. kinda funny. felt super weak though, was trying quite hard to keep my running form. after training my legs felt like a jellyfish. bleh. nvm, this thursday got gym workout.
pw dry run tmr. let's just hurry up get this over and done with.

haha, it's quite unpredictable wat boredom can do to people
it made shinigami (death god) ryuk drop the death note onto the human world
it made yagami light use the death note to kill criminals
it almost made me go for a 2-hour jog, if not for the rain that came halfway
but still, i did 1 hr 34 minutes at snail's pace. sweet.
i'm tired now, lol... pw yesterday was quite an experience i must say. although i'm not shy to admit that it was quite a failure as our ulimate objective wasn't achieved. it was quite worth it working with the disabled people. watching them sweat their hearts out just to accomplish something which we could have very easily achieved just instil a lot of thoughts within me
even they're all trying so hard... so wat the heck are we slacking around for?
anw, op's just around the corner. i just wanna get it over and done with. then it's time to have fun at yltc. of course, there's still track trainings to look forward to.
and i dunno why i suddenly love listening to cherish (by ai otsuka) more than planetarium (also by ai otsuka xD). and the same goes for welcome to the black parade (by my chemical romance). i just kept looping the songs over and over and over and over again.
we could leave this town and run forever...

went for nj year end party despite knowing the big irony between 'njc' and 'party'. just go to show support i guess... but it wasn't exactly not fun. played xbox for free cos mark treated me and thomas. and we did some wierd stuff to celebrate michelle's birthday. shan't elaborate on that... poor aaron (not me). i'm already used to calling other people aaron due to the many aarons i know of. anw, in the end i got free cake too! ok i sound like a cheapo...
ok i'm gonna talk about anime for a bit again. so if 'not again' appears in ur mind right now, feel free to skip the following paragraph or navigate away from this page if u like.
just finished reading death note book 4 and 5. thanks to suling for lending me the books! =) good storyline as expected, because of all the unexpected turn of events. (does that sentence makes sense?) and i must say that L and yagami light are both damn smart (or rather, the author is damn smart) don't be fooled by the movie, it doesn't tell u much about them. read the manga or watch the anime, they're much much much better. haha, in animes, it's always the damn smart people like shikamaru (naruto), and in the case of death note, L and light, which makes the story interesting. not surprisingly, i like these characters most (however uncool they are being portrayed in the story).
can't wait to get my hands on book 6 and 7...
did long run today for morning training. but somehow i feel like we're not doing enough. or rather, too little.
tmr have to do pw again. lets hope that it won't be a flop.
and the prata stall is not open yet! school end liao leh! sob.

i know i don't like to do this, but since i mentioned in my gp essay that blogs are channels for users to express themselves better to others, i'll do just that.
but i wont say this again cos i hate saying this kind of stuff
I dislike people who put up that unhappy+bu shuang+cannot be bothered face for the day simply because somebody else pissed him off real badly. we should know one's mood can affect everyone around you quite easily, so if u're piss just keep it to urself can?! if u cant just go and settle the problem and get it over with once and for all. if someone is being unreasonable why should u bother about him/her in the first place? crap.
i can't believe i can let my mood get affected by this. oh man. need more training. lolx
ok smile =)
whew, feel better now. like i've said before, life is too short to be wasted such stuff. i go play game le x)

ok, i spent quite some time doing this layout.
the drawing especially, but it was a good one.
=)
finally watched death note today, with some s14 ppl. to be honest, i had expected the movie to be not as nice as the manga/anime, and my expectations were, sadly, correct. unlike most animes, the 'thing' which makes people love death note is all the little details in the story, how both characters manage to manipulate and fool each other to avoid being discovered and how very smart they are in their analytical skills. sadly, much of these small details were left out, due to the limited time of a movie i suppose. the smart thing the producers did was to divide the movie into 2 parts instead of cramping the entire series into a 2-hour movie. but anw, that is impossible. now i know why other people who've read harry potter said harry potter and the goblet of fire wasn't nice when i thought it was nice. becos i didn't read the book before i watch the movie. lolx. anw, it's not like i discourage u guys from watching or anything. it's still a nice movie despite all that i've mentioned above.
and vivo city was another orchard road today. i actually missed out the fact that today was a public holiday a decided on today to catch the movie. needless to say, we were forced to sit at the first 2 rows for the movie. but hui juin, (whom i seriously think looks shorter in long pants (irony), came up with this fantastic idea of sitting on the floor and lying back on the seat since we're in the front row. works pretty well. only thing to take note is that you'll fall asleep quite easily if the movie is boring. but of course death note isn't boring.
and my cousin did a death-defying stunt today when attempting to drive my mum's car out of the parking lot with 2 cars parked super close on either sides and a bus blocking it's path about 5m in front. i think my heart skipped a beat when he did that. according to him, it requires much 'skill'. i really wonder how did he get his driving liscense. hmmm...

today i got lost on the road of life
今天我在人生的道路上迷路了。。。
no, it has got nothing to do with my promos results. they turned out fine. i improved a bit for every subject in fact. so yup, i'm fine with it... wanna know how i did? just ask me.
it's just... something else is bothering me...
but hey, like what i always do... don't think too much.
tmr gonna watch death note =)

wah i seriously hate the haze.
when i bring my running shoes to sch, the psi will rise above 100
and just when i didnt bring them today as i have op workshop, the weather seemed perfect for a good jog. so crap...
speaking of op workshop. everything went fine, though i didnt score well. anw i have a rough idea of what my flaws are, it's just a matter of whether i can correct them. pw op exam is just 2 weeks away, and after that 2 weeks, total freedom liaoxxxx.
anw, i had a good long game of bball to today to compensate for missing training. i dunno if that can count as compensation but.... who cares. i did sweat. doing double training tmr, morning and afternoon. let's just hope the haze doesn't go against me tmr.
lol, and as esther has said, if there's anything to blame on for my lack of fitness, blame the haze. and of course that isn't the right thing to do. but then again, who cares? it's the haze fault.
well, till next time then.

i used to think that animes always have quite boring startings and as the plot develops, it starts to get better. well, i guessed i have jumped the gun in making that conclusion. because naruto and bleach, 2 of the animes which i had enjoyed watching, is boring the crap out of me with their recent never-ending (and i really mean NEVER-ENDING) filler episodes. (note: filler episodes are episodes which are there for the sake of wasting time to let the manga storyline develop further). i know i know, i have been complaining about this for like how many billion years already but i just cant stop complaining. if the filler episodes show some interesting stuff i wouldn't mind but... ahhh u get the point...
just when i was about to punch a hole in my laptop, along comes other anime. KIBA has quite a boring starting but i think there's a lot more to come. death note just released episode 1 and 2 of it's anime and it sure was well done. this is one of the few works in which the anime itself is better than the manga. i'm looking forward to more of it and i'm sure it won't be a flop like the current naruto and bleach (because the manga series has ended already, so i think there won't be any fillers, unless the anime studio wanna try something stupid. i will kill them).
ok animes and mangas aside.
shant complain abt the haze 'cuz i think everyone thinks the same way as i do... haix... i promise i will not burn any leaves in the future.
hehe, i know wat i'm gonna do for my next blog layout already... haha no, not death note... or maybe i can take that into consideration too...

games day... yup ignis got 1st and 4th for soccer...
something to cheer about, though i could sense much under currents of tension...
and xiang fei's (is that how i spell his name?) goal was simply superb. i bet everyone thought the ball would go out for sure when he chased it down the flank. and he just put it into the back of the net from that super tight angle. pure soccer magic. wow...
other than that... recycling talk was simply a waste of my time...
completed our banner for open day. that's one load (out of a million) off my mind for now...
10 more days to the release of death note movie!
whew...

PSI index reached a record high of 130 this morning
if u dont want to suffocate to death please stay indoors.
so much for the kyoto protocol...
i created two holes in my retired running shoes from the sudden increase in soccer playing time i have in school, which is why i decided to get a pair of street soccer boots as my next pair of shoes. and thanks to qing sheng i got it for 50 bucks. haha. suppose to try it out today but i realise i didn't have an oxygen tank so... yar...
cough cough...
i'm bored....

ok there's no sir bomb-a-lot today but the paper was fine.
finally, all is over. maybe not all... but who cares..
all is over.
today was a simple day. after papers, had a good game of soccer despite the stupid haze. yea... it was a good game. scored a few goals but missed more chances. xP
after soccer, had lunch at cine before catching a movie with khoo, wq, ty and haikal. we were arguing on wat movie to watch. decided on stay alive despite tingyang being strongly against it. ah, cant blame him for that la xD. not as scary as i expected it to be though, and the plot was so-so. but it was ok i guess... and one thing i've learnt is during the movie, try not to predict wat will happen next even though u're good at it or it's very predictable, because u'll just ruin the show urself.
after movie, we went to play lan. yes, LAN. for the first time in my life. at least i'm not the most lousy guy among the five of us. i shall not say who (*ahhhh-ting-chooo!-yang* *sniff*) *reaches out for another tissue paper*
paiseh, stupid nose won't stop running
ok i shall start on a new anime series. oh, just to advertise a bit. death note's gonna be in cinemas soon. it's a movie based on a japanese manga. it's about... a death note. i've read the manga and it's nice. so, be sure to catch it! check out youtube for the movie trailer
