wth, i just ran the worst and the most cock-up race i had ever ran. ytd i was just saying i won't complain abt 4x1 but today i'm gonna whine about my 200m
first was the rain. my heat, which was the last heat for 'a' boys, got caught in the downpour and it continued nevertheless. so the gun went off, twice. fault start. and the culprit was me. it wasn't exactly a fault start but it was a fault start... i dunno how to explain it... the starter just went, 'no warning to anyone'
ok, so the next start went well. but the run was kinda horrible. zero visibility. the only things i could see were the rain and shades of the acjc and vjc jersey in front of me. even the finishing line was invisible. just anyhow agar agar dipped when i reached the end. but i felt my run was okay... i thought all went well and it felt good.
when i got back to the stands after my swim, mr lim told me, '24.5'
ok, whoo new p.b., i THOUGHT.
when the official results are out, '26.28' which is like super super super super super super super super super super super off. my worst race time ever. and needless to say i did not make it to the semis. actually, my entire heat did not make it. wat the F***. up till now i'm still on unsure about what on earth exactly happened for me to run such a turtle timing.
rahhhhhhh, i'm pissed.
ok still, i'll try and look on the brighter side (although it's still very dark), i can focus on my 4x400 on thursday.
